What it is

Nerve pain that starts in the back and travels down the leg

Sciatica happens when a herniated or bulging disc, or spinal stenosis, presses on the sciatic nerve as it exits the lower spine. That pressure can send sharp, burning, or radiating pain down one leg, along with numbness, tingling, or weakness that can make standing, sitting, or walking difficult.

Our approach

Relieving pressure at the source

Because sciatica is usually a symptom of an underlying disc problem, our non-surgical spinal decompression therapy is aimed at relieving pressure on the disc and nerve directly, rather than only treating leg pain in isolation. Many patients notice improvement in radiating symptoms as compression on the nerve is reduced.
